A new improved maintenance release of PanoMan (3.0.610) just went online on this site. It is free for all existing customers of PanoMan 3.0!

The new version offers two great improvements:

First, it significantly improves the processing time of a panoramic image, so you are able to create and save your panoramas more quickly.

Secondly, it improves the quality (sharpness) of the panoramic images through support of the auto-focus system available on some Nokia N-Series devices (like N95, N95 8GB or N82). Some customers reported problems with blurry images on those devices, which was related to the fact that the camera is not focused to infinity by default. If enabled, the new auto-focus support in PanoMan focuses at each key frame, so the final panorama will look a lot sharper. Note that you must actively enable “auto-focus” in the settings menu of PanoMan to profit from this new feature.

For getting the upgrade just visit http://www.panoman.net/upgrade-panoman, enter the IMEI you provided when purchasing PanoMan 3.0 and you will receive an email with the download link together with a new key code. Download the application to your PC, send it via Bluetooth or cable to your device and install it from the inbox. Owners of Nokia devices may also use the Nokia PC Suite for directly installing PanoMan.
